A £50 deposit is all that’s required to secure your dates. Please note that a £100 security deposit is automatically added to the booking total; this is fully refundable and will be returned to you shortly after your stay.

Our policies
ACCESS TO THE LOOKOUT
Getting here is part of the experience. The Lookout is accessed via a coastal path, which can be narrow and steep in places, so we recommend comfortable footwear and packing light.
We provide simple offloading guidance to make arrival as easy as possible, and most guests find the walk very manageable.
If you’re attending a wedding at Polhawn Fort, please note there is a separate access route available for your convenience.
Being set on the cliff edge is what makes the Lookout so special, so we kindly ask guests to make sure the access suits them before booking.
CHILDREN
Babies aged 0–6 months (in arms) are welcome free of charge. A travel cot is available on request for £10 per stay. Please bring along extra towels and blankets to make your little one comfortable.
SMOKING
For the comfort and safety of all our guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
PAYMENT METHODS
We recommend paying by bank transfer, which carries no additional fees, PayPal is available if preferred, but please note it carries a 3.2% charge. Cheques are also accepted if arranged in advance.
CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES
Arrival is from 4pm, and we ask that you head off by 10am.
If you’d like a bit more time on the coast, we offer early arrival (2pm) or a late departure (12pm) for £25 each. You can add these to your stay in the extras section or just let us know.
Our stays are charged per night, with a discount automatically applied for weekly bookings. If you’d like to stay longer than 7 nights, we’d be delighted to help — just get in touch with us.
We welcome one well-behaved dog at Polhawn Lookout for free. To make things easier, we provide a dog bed, blanket, and bowls — so your four-legged friend feels at home too. We ask kindly that you keep your dog off the furniture.
