HOTEL COMFORT. STILLNESS ON THE CLIFFS. A SHORT STROLL TO THE FORT.

WEDDING STAYS AT THE LOOKOUT

We are a four-minute walk from Polhawn Fort. The Lookout is designed for those who want a bit of stillness before the ceremony and a quiet place to return to when the celebrations ends.

THE COASTAL PATH

Wedding guests can park on the Fort’s driveway and trace the path as it climbs the cliff toward our door. It is a short walk over roughly forty steps, with the sea at your back.

The ground is rugged and honest. When you are ready for the ceremony, we suggest wearing flats for the walk down and swapping into your heels at the car. You can leave your trainers there—they’ll be waiting for you when you wander back later that night.

A QUIET MORNING

We offer an early 2pm arrival and a late 12pm departure for a small fee. While we always try to be flexible, we recommend booking the night before to ensure you have all the time you need to prepare without the rush.

KINGSAND & CAWSAND

Kingsand and Cawsand are perfect for a slow wander the morning after. The Halfway Inn opens for breakfast from 9am and has a car park nearby. If you’d rather eat on the beach, you can grab a coffee and a savoury from The Stores, or try The Old Bakery—though keep in mind their opening hours are seasonal. It’s the best way to see the villages before you head home.
